Wisley Plans – Continue to Evolve

03 May 2022

Consultation Continues

Taylor Wimpey have continued consultation on the proposed redevelopment of Wisley Airfield by running Community Presentation on Tuesday 26th April. This is one of the strategic sites identified in the Local Plan - see details

The material used at the presentation is available on the Taylor Wimpey Website and there is an opportunity to feedback to the Taylor Wimpey team via the website. The plans as at April 2022 include 1770 houses with 40% planned as affordable.

This is all in preparation to the submission of a planning application for the site in Spring 2022.

Junction 10

The plans for Wisley are also influenced by the proposed A3/M25 Junction 10 improvement scheme.  A decision on this scheme is due by the 12th May after several delays. I tshould be noted that a planning application has been submitted for a worksite at Ripley to support the junction works.

See 21/P/01577 | Temporary Planning Permission until 31 May 2024 for change of use to site compound for highway works with formation of new access to A3 / B2215 Ockham roundabout.
