The University has been creating a new institute to focus on Sustainability. It is due to be officially launched at the beginning of November. The institute works on a pan-university basis and demonstrates the University of Surrey’s commitment to have a leadership position on interdisciplinary sustainability research. The Institute will increase the scale and the excellence of the University’s research and innovation in sustainability. The Institute is aiming to work across many disciplines and organisations in a collaborative programmes to produce world-class research which will cause significant change.
