The Architecture Journal and The Guardian have published articles on a scheme where FCBS have developed the overall vison for a site in Brent London.  The buildings are part of a 20 year long regeneration scheme which will see 2,400 new homes delivered.  FCBS have been joined by Alison Brooks, and Gort Scott to work on the scheme, to design individual blocks.

The Scheme demolishes an exisiting estate.  The new buildings revert to a 19th Century Street plan and opens up a new relationship with a neighbouring Grade 1 listed church.  All buildings in the latest phase share a height datum of four storeys above which roof treatments differ.

FCBS also have a summary of the scheme.

The Scheme may provide ideas for for sites in the Guildford Urban area.
